A bit about the role

  1. Create and conduct automated testing of new features, enhancements, and bug fixes to identify defects and ensure a high level of product quality
  1. Perform regression testing to ensure existing functionality remains intact after new changes or updates are implemented
  1. Collaborate closely with product team, engineering, and design team to understand product requirements and provide valuable feedback during the development cycle
  1. Introduce and apply knowledge of QA methodologies and tools to execute test cases and report results
  1. Create detailed, comprehensive, well-structured and maintainable test plans and test cases
  1. Identify, report, and track software defects using issue tracking systems, and work closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution
  1. Champion of Quality and ensures urgency is organized from urgent → low priority issues
  1. Act as a technical mentor for junior QAs, providing guidance and support to help them grow and excel in their roles.
  1. Collaborate with a small and efficient team completely remote.
  1. Stay informed about the latest crypto trends and possess a basic understanding of crypto concepts to facilitate project management discussions.
  1. Willingness to learn new languages and technology

We would love to have

  • At least 5 years of developer experience with strong expertise in QA or Automation Engineering in Web and API testing
  • At least 1 year of experience in testing DeFi/Financial products (UI & API testing)
  • Experience in automation tools (datadog or similar like selenium, cypress)
  • Experience in blackbox and white box testing
  • Proficiency of testing best practices and experience in testing financial systems
  • Proficiency with Designing and creating structured robust test plan
  • Knowledge of Git Workflow, Microservices, Cloudflare workers, Web3 Wallets, etc
  • Experience in financial applications/DeFi or related applications
  • Proactiveness runs in our blood who can make an impact
  • Good verbal and written English communication skills
  • Optional but a plus:
    • Performance/Security test
    • Experience in software engineer position (note: we do not expect that you will develop smart contracts)
